M.I.A Gallery is pleased to announce “The Great Vision”, an exhibition dedicated to the promising photographer and mixed-media artist, Delphine Diaw Diallo. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, April 5th from 6-8pm. The exhibition runs from April 5 th through May 12th, 2012.
Born and raised in Paris, Delphine Diaw Diallo, the rising star of photography, represents the essence of diversity, womanhood and spirituality through her art.She employs photography, collage and drawing to express her vision of the world.
The Great Vision features over twenty photographs taken in the Crow Country, Montana. Delphine Diaw Diallo shoots ceremonial gatherings in which Crow members celebrate their culture and heritage.
